How much does a workplace medical cost?

A Network Rail Personal Track Safety (PTS) medical must now include a drug and alcohol test, while a non Sentinel PTS medical can still be performed in isolation. We can perform safety critical medical assessments with or without drug and alcohol testing.

How much does a Network Rail PTS medical cost?

The cost of a PTS medical including a point of care drug screen and breath alcohol test is from £170 for one individual at selected clinics. If performed with a laboratory drug and alcohol test, this cost increases to £185.

Also, at selected clinics, PTS medical prices are lower if more candidates are to be examined. For example, the cost per person comes down to £150 for five candidates or more for both point of care and laboratory drug testing.

In addition, we offer mobile workplace medicals at selected locations in the UK, dependant on the numbers of candidates being assessed. PTS medical prices including a point of care drug and alcohol test is £190 per person, or for 5 people or more from £170 per person.

Safety critical medical prices can depend on the type of assessment needed. For example, the cost of a basic safety critical medical for 1 individual at a medical centre is £145. With a drug and alcohol test included, the cost is from £230.
