Crystal Health Group work with many solicitors around the UK providing DNA testing services. Whether it is on-going DNA testing, linked with other solicitors, social services, one-off testing requirements, or Legal Aid work, we will have a solution that works for your organisation.
There are many reasons why a court approved legal DNA test might be needed. Whatever the reason, we work directly with solicitors or through our own clients to provide the DNA test required. We work on a commercial basis with solicitors throughout the UK and can provide Service Level Agreement terms for continued DNA testing requirements. Alternatively, for one-off testing, we use an order confirmation process. In addition, we offer split invoicing and can accommodate Legal Aid cases.
When working with a private client, we can also correspond with a client’s solicitors if we have third party consent in place.
Recent cases include arranging separate DNA test appointments for two alleged fathers for a child in foster care. This involved working with two law firms and social services.
Another example involved working closely with solicitors to determine paternity of a father for child maintenance. Or removal of his name from a birth certificate depending on the outcome of the results. In this case, the solicitors worked with social services as the child was in care, while we organised collection of samples and DNA testing.
In addition, we can accommodate split invoicing between parties. In most cases, where there is a payment history in place with Crystal Health Group, we can offer 30-day credit terms.
When working with a private client, then third-party consent must be in place to satisfy GDPR requirements. We will provide our client with a third-party consent form to be completed. Once we have this, we can liaise with authorised social worker about the DNA test.
We also offer the opportunity for solicitors to attend DNA testing appointments with their clients at selected DNA Clinics. In addition, we can also accommodate on-site sample collection at solicitor’s offices if needed. As a result, the solicitor can also act as a witness to the sample collection if this is required.
Whatever the requirement, we will do our best to accommodate a request, in compliance with our own policies and GDPR requirements.
